Day 1: Upon arrival private transfer to
hotel; p.m. private city tour Salta (or cultural City Walk), a charming
colonial city with interesting historic and artistic treasures and
picturesque old fashioned atmosphere. There are fascinating relics
of Spanish colonial times. The Indian population keeps many customs
and Inca traditions alive.
Day 2: Drive to Jujuy, where a beautiful gilded pulpit is
a masterpiece of colonial art. Full day private visit to the famous
and picturesque Quebrada de Humahuaca, where the breathtaking beauty
of the region, with its incredible colours, is at its best. Stops
at Indian colonial villages will be made along the way, like Purmamarca,
Uquia and Humahuaca to walk through narrow streets and see some
of the many handicrafts. Return via the ancient town and pre-Inca
ruins of Tilcara. Lunch included.
Day 3: Private transfer to the airport.

Day 2: Full day private tour to Cafayate, passing on the
way through old villages, reaching the impressive Las Conchas Gorge,
extension of 80 Km. of magnificent colourful mountains. Lunch and
return to Salta.
Day 3: Full day private tour with lunch included. Drive to
Jujuy and visit to the Cathedral. Further, drive into the Humahuaca
Gorge, reaching Purmamarca and visiting the crafts market. Continuing
the circuit, after crossing the Tropic of Capricorn visit of the
towns of Uquia and Humahuaca. On the way back, stop in Tilcara,
an Indian colonial town and fortress ruins.
Day 4: Private transfer to airport.
Day 1: Reception and private transfer to

Day 2: Full day private excursion with lunch to Cachi in
the Calchaqui valleys. Drive up the Cuesta del Obispo 3400 m. mountain
pass, arriving at the small picturesque Indian town of Cachi (2000
m.) across a spectacular cactus-covered plateau with magnificent
snow-covered mountains ranging behind. Short visit to the archaeological
museum and small church. Lunchtime to enjoy the town’s hospitality
and peaceful atmosphere. Return to Salta.
Day 3: Full day private tour with lunch included. Drive to
Jujuy and visit to the Cathedral. Further, drive into the Humahuaca

Day 2: Departure by private car, crossing mountains covered
by subtropical forests to Tafi del Valle; visit to Archaeological
Park Los Menhires. Drive to the Calchaqui Valleys, visit to the
Quilmes ruins, which have a strong Inca influence. Arrival in Cafayate,
well known for its excellent local wines. Lunch. Hotel Asturias.
Day 3: Departure to Salta driving along the spectacular rock
formations of Las Conchas Gorge. Arrival in Salta. Lunch. P.m. city
tour of this beautiful colonial style city. Hotel.
Day 4: FD excursion to Cachi. Drive up the Cuesta del Obispo
with its constantly changing landscape. After crossing the Tin Tin
plateau covered with giant cactus (Los Cardones National Park),
and with view to the snow-covered Cachi mount, arrival in the colonial
Cachi village. Visit the plaza and the archaeological museum. Lunch,
return to Salta. Hotel Portezuelo.
Day 5: Drive to Jujuy, where a gilded pulpit is a masterpiece
of colonial art. FD visit to the picturesque Quebrada de Humahuaca.
Stop at Indian villages like Purmamarca, Humahuaca and Tilcara &
ruins. Walk through narrow streets, shopping for handicrafts. Return
to Salta.
Day 6: Free in Salta
Day 7: Transfer to the airport.
