Arrival to Easter Island. Reception at Mataveri Airport with flower
and/or shell necklaces. Transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
DAY 02 HANGA ROA / ANA KENA / HANGA
ROA
Breakfast at the hotel. A full day tour, along the Moai route, visiting:
Vaihu, a place which is surrounded by enormous statues which have
fallen face down; the ruins of Akahanga, which are in their natural
condition and where the first king of the island was buried. Further
along, we will see the Rano Raraku volcano, situated close to the
southern shore of the island, and at the base of Poike, which is
the most spectacular crater in the zone and where the former island-people
carved the giant statues from the volcano's quarry. Here we can
see the different stages in the construction of the Moais, the biggest
of which still remains at the base of the quarry and which is more
than 20m long and weighs just under 200 tons. We will the visit
the restored Ahu Tongariki, the biggest on the Island with 15 Moais
(Statues), which had been destroyed by a tidal wave in 1960. We
then visit Te Pito Kura, an ancient settlement with a mystical circular
stone before carrying on to Anakena beach. Free time to enjoy the
warm sea waters which surround the island. In the afternoon, return
to the hotel. Lodging.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport at the arranged
time for the departure flight.

AHKIVI / HANGA ROA
Breakfast at the hotel. A half-day tour to the Rano Kao volcano,
whose deep crater of lush vegetation contains a large fresh water
lake covered with totora. From there, we will continue onto the
Cultural Centre of Orongo, situated at the top of the crater at
over 300m above sea level and where year after year the Bird Man
or Tangata Manu ceremony takes place . We can see more than 100
petroglyphs which represent the Make-Make God and the Manutara seabird
amongst others. Next, we will proceed to Ana Kai Tangata, a cavern
where the island people took refuge during times of war and where
you can see many pre-historic paintings. Then we will visit Ahu
Vinapu, where the interesting architectural style reminds you of
the Inca's handiwork. In the afternoon we will make another excursion
visiting Ahu Akivi, the big platform, which is composed of 7 Moais,
all of them facing the sea; the Ana Tepahu caverns and the quarry
of Puna Pau, where the top part of the Moais were sculpted (named
Pukao, which means "typical hairstyle"), and Ahu Tahai.
Return to the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 04 HANGA ROA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Mataveri Airport at the agreed
time for the departure flight.

Robinson Crusoe island has a surface area of 47.1 Km2 (29.3 square
miles) and is 680 Km (423 miles) off the central Chilean coast.
Home to 550 inhabitants, this Island possesses grandiose flora and
fauna in a spectacular natural setting which led it to be declared
a World Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations in 1977 and a National
Park by CONAF (National Forestry Board of Chile).
DAY 01 SANTIAGO / SAN JUAN BAUTISTA
/ EL PANGAL
Depart from your hotel in Santiago for “Tobalaba” Airport
where our flight to Robinson Crusoe Island will depart. After approximately
a 2 ½ hour flight we will land at the Island where we will
be met and transferred by boat to the town of San Juan Bautista.
Transfer to the hotel El Pangal.
Visit Juan Bautista village, visiting historicl places such as Las
Cuevas de los Patriotas (Cave of the patriots), where the first
creoulle lived in exile, after the battle of Rancagua. Also we can
see the cementary, where the crew of the Dresden ship are buried.
The Dresden is sunk in the coast of the island, so, we can see some
vestiges of the battle, visiting the fort od Santa Barbara and some
bullet, that remains as witnesses of the battle. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 02 EL PANGAL
Breakfast in El Pangal, We will beging a fuul day tour to Tierras
Blancas. Our first stop is Mirador de Selkirk, there we will apreciate
the beautiness of the island, see the flora and the archipielago.
The ocean creatas a marvellous contrast with the grren of the island.
This is an excellent place for taking pictures. Bos lunch in tour.
After that, we continue to Villagra valley, before finishing the
tour stop in sea wolves nurseries. This place is unique because
present the highest amount of dos pelos sea wolves, a unique specie,
only available in Robinson Crusoe Island. This mamol now is protected
by Chilean Laws, years ago fisherman almost extincted this beautiful
animal. Return to El Pangal. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 03 EL PANGAL
Breakfast in El Pangal, In this tour we will visit Puerto inglés,
place of pirates during XVII and XVIII centuries, sail to Puerto
inglés and Scorpion cave, enjoy the stories that people tells
about pirates. Myths and treausres stories are part of the culture
of juan Fernandez island. Return to El Pangal. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 04 EL PANGAL / SANTIAGO
Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer by boat to the airport to
take the return flight to Santiago. Reception and transfer to the
hotel.

• Operates from October to April. Flight Santiago / Robinson
Crusoe island / Santiago under confirmation.
• Any extra costs due to flight delays/cancellations are the
passenger’s responsibility.
• We recommend casual clothes and something warm for the evenings
• There are no banks on the Island so they don’t accept
cheques or credit cards.
• There is only a first aid post on the Island so this excursion
is not advisable for people who have ailments that might need urgent
attention.

DAY 01 Friday PUERTO MONTT / ANCUD
Departure in the morning from Puerto Montt to visit the Pacific
port of Ancud on Chiloé Island. Once we have crossed the
Chacao Channel and set foot on the island our first port of call
will be the village of Chacao. We will then continue on to Ancud.
On arrival we will visit the Museum where we will find out about
the island’s history. After lunch (not included) we will visit
the fort of San Antonio, where the withdrawl of the Spaniards from
American soil was signed, and Arena Gruesa Beach. We’ll then
take the road to Fort Ahui on the extreme west of Ancud Bay near
the Corona lighthouse. Here you will have a spectacular panoramic
view of the area and from where you will be able to glean an insight
into the Spanish strategy in colonial times as they protected the
town by building fortifications on either side of the bay. Return
by Mar Brava along a track that runs along beaches on the Pacific
coast. On our return to Ancud we will go up Huaihuén hill
from where we will have a view of the Pacific Ocean, Ancud, and
the Pudeto and Continente rivers. Arrival to the Hotel in Ancud.
Overnight at the hotel in Ancud.
DAY 02 Saturday ANCUD
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure.

DAY 03 Sunday ANCUD / CASTRO / PUERTO
MONTT
Breakfast at the Hotel. We will depart in the morning for Castro
by S.I.B. service. On route we will see the range of hills on the
island known as the “Cordillera de San Pedro” and we
will also be able to see the chain of volcanoes of the Andes mountain
range on the mainland. We will visit the town of Dalcahue with its
famous handicraft fair where you will be able to purchase woven
or knitted articles and local basket work. Free time to visit the
local church which is a national Monument. We will continue our
trip to Castro, the capital of Chiloé. We will visit the
town famous for its houses built on stilts over the water and the
Church of San Francisco. Return to Puerto Montt in the late afternoon
leaving the passengers at the Airport or the hotel.

DAY 02 ANCUD ( Chiloe Island )
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we depart on a full day excursion
visiting the most famous churches of Chiloé. These national
monuments have just been declared as World Heritage sites by UNESCO
and are unique in their wooden construction.Besides, these churches
are located in typical small “Chilote” villages, where
tradional rural life is the norm.
We begin by visiting The Church of Dalcahue 60 Km South of Ancud.
We then go to the church of Achao in Isla de Qinchao, the Church
of Quinchao in Isla Quinchao, the Church of Castro 80 Km from Ancud,
the Church of Nercón 85 Km South of Ancud, the Church of
Chonchi 103 Km South of Ancud, and the Church of Villipulli 100
Km south of Ancud. Lunch on route ( not included) We then return
to the hotel in Ancud. Overnight at the hotel in Ancud.
DAY 03 ANCUD / PUERTO MONTT
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer at the agreed time to Puerto Montt
or Puerto Varas.
