General Information about Las Leñas

Located near the capital city of Mendoza, just 450 Km away and 70 Km from Malargue, it is also the highest resort, with a 1,200-meter vertical drop, between the 3,340-meter-high summit and the 2,240-meter-high base, thus creating a paradise for extreme skiing and heli-skiing, with options for beginner and intermediate skiers.

As a result of the dry features of the weather, the 230 hectares of skiable surface expose a snow quality that is internationally recognized.

Las Lenas was built in 1983. Since then, the mountain has become very popular with locals and foreigners alike. The beautiful scenery and warm resort feel of this destination have been the keys to the success of this ski resort.

The ski center is also the paradise of extreme ski and Heliski but also has alternatives for beginners and intermediate skiers.Las Leñas has a modern system to make artificial snow.
